SULKHAN ZUMBURIDZE

Mr. Sulkhan Zumburidze, a distinguished leader in the energy sector, has notably enhanced the Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) as its former CEO, significantly increasing its financial performance during his 10-year tenure. In founding Parvus Group, he spearheaded the development of 12 hydropower plants since 2019, demonstrating his prowess in renewable energy. His consulting expertise is evident in advising the CEO of JSC National Power Networks of Uzbekistan on energy sector reform, emphasizing his proficiency in electrical power systems planning. Mr. Zumburidze's influence in strategic power grid projects has been pivotal in shaping the regional energy landscape. His extensive experience and technical acumen render him a vital asset in consulting, particularly in energy project development, financial management, and sectoral reform.

MAMUKA PAPUASHVILI
Managing Partner, Power System Expert
Mr. Mamuka Papuashvili is an exceptional expert and seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. As the former Chief Technology Officer of the Georgian State Electrosystem, he played a pivotal role in managing various projects, including the construction of high-voltage power transmission lines and substations, the implementation of advanced digital control and protection systems.
In 2019, Mamuka established Parvus Group and has since led the successful construction of 12 hydropower plants, further enhancing his expertise in renewable energy projects.
Mamuka is actively engaged in the strategic development of Parvus Consulting, where he remains at the forefront of shaping the future of energy. Through his consultancy work, Mamuka leverages his extensive knowledge and experience to drive the development of consulting projects, offering innovative solutions to clients worldwide.

GIORGI ARZIANI
Senior Energy Advisor
Giorgi Arziani is a seasoned manager and an expert in electrical power system planning, with over 15 years of experience in the energy sector. He has earned a PhD in power and electrical engineering and currently lectures at the Georgian Technical University. Giorgi's extensive expertise spans across the Eastern partnership countries, including Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, where he has made significant contributions as a Senior Engineer in the Black Sea Transmission Planning project for a decade. He has played a key role in initiating new energy initiatives, conducting power system planning, and performing modeling and simulations for the Georgian power system. Giorgi has also been instrumental in creating Georgia's first Ten Year Network Development Plan and has been involved in a range of R&D projects focusing on HVDC and FACTS systems, renewable energy, power quality, power converters, and energy storage systems.

Meet Baia Kvatadze, a dedicated power system engineer with a primary focus on renewable integration and energy storage applications. Holding an MSc in Energy and Power Engineering from Georgian Technical University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field.
Throughout her tenure at Parvus Consulting, Ms. Baia has led numerous energy projects centered around renewable energy systems development. Her hands-on experience and strategic approach have contributed to the successful implementation of sustainable energy projects.
Ms. Kvatadze is not only an active practitioner but also a prominent researcher. She has presented her insights at multiple international conferences and has authored several scientific articles, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field of energy engineering.

Senior Engineer
Luka Baramidze is an experienced engineer and distinguished scientist. With a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, USA, his diverse background and international exposure add significant value to his work.
Luka's primary expertise lies in the realm of modeling and simulation across various domains, including steady-state, transient (RMS and EMT) and quasi-dynamic analysis. His proficiency in these areas allows him to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation in the field of electrical engineering.
Beyond his academic qualifications, Luka has a proven track record of delivering results in real-world applications. His hands-on experience and analytical approach make him a valuable asset to our team.

ANA STURUA
LEGAL AND REGULATROY ADVISOR
Mrs. Ana Sturua. An experienced lawyer and legal counsel. Worked for the Georgian State Electrosystem, Georgian TSO. Coordinated donor-financed projects regarding the Electricity Market establishment, System Services, Security of Supply, and Grid Code. Before joining GSE, Ana worked with the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees as a legal expert. Also Worked for GIG, one of the largest industrial groups in Georgia on contracts for coal mining and power generation. She served as a Personal Data Protection Officer at the PSDA, ensuring liaison between physical persons and corporate entities on the legal framework. One of the most remarkable events Ana contributed was the implementation of the Liberalization Action Plan with the EU(VISA-FREE FOR Georgia).

LALI CHKHEIDZE
Energy Policy Expert
Mrs. Lali Chkheidze is a highly experienced legal professional with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector. She holds LL.M in Law and Business in Central Europe from Charles University in Prague. Before joining Parvus Consulting, Lali served as the Head of Unit at Georgian State Electrosystem (GSE) where she was responsible for Harmonization with EU Regulations and Legal Development. Throughout her career she has contributed to drafting the Balancing Market Rules within the Energy Market reform, actively participated in the creation of the renewable energy regulatory framework, worked on draft legal acts for promoting Guarantees of Origin and drafted regulatory impact assessment documents. She has also gained experience FIDIC Yellow book contracts while being part of transmission line development projects. Lali is a PhD candidate at New Vision University and is also a lecturer of Civil Law at Ilia State University.
